Cleaning and disinfecting make up brushes we recommend using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. You can use rubbing alcohol to clean make up brushes to kill the bacteria, which means less transfers of germs and you won’t see breakouts as you won’t be passing over germs as the rubbing alcohol will kill them.
You can use rubbing alcohol to disinfect wounds on the skin as the dilution makes it safer to use on the skin. You can also use Isopropyl Alcohol 70% to kill mealy bugs. The reason you would choose 70% over 100% when it comes to killing mealy bugs is because the higher moisture content in the rubbing alcohol means that it will stay on the bugs for longer, allowing it to work and kill the bugs.
