Low odour Kerosene and kerosene differences

Can you use Sydney Solvents Kerosene for Kerosene Heaters?

Short answer: Yes

Our Kerosene fuel is prefect for Kerosene heaters, burning off a lovely heat to keep you warm during the cold weather.

Want kerosene that doesn't smell as much?

Sydney Solvents does offer, our “low odour kerosene” this kerosene, has a lower odour smell which tends to burn off during the burning process, meaning it does not smell as much or as strong as our normal clear kerosene.

What is Blue Kerosene?

Blue Kerosene is exactly the same as the Sydney Solvents Clear Kerosene, the only difference is that it is blue. The blue Kerosene has a blue dye in it simply so that it can be distinguished at Oil Depots, but in terms of usage in comparison to the clear, it is exactly the same.

Are we able to bring our old containers to fill up?

Unfortunately, due to the regulations by the EPA that we abide by we are unable to accept containers due to contamination and the level of danger it can have. Even our own containers we cannot refill.

How can we dispose of the containers?

The disposable of dangerous goods plastic (as long as it is empty), you can give it a washout and put it in the normal bin for disposal or contact your local council to find the best way for disposal.
