Solvent 1425 is a petroleum solvent used within the industrial and manufacturing industry. The flashpoint of solvent 1425 is -15°C and has a boiling range of 75-115°C. Solvent 1425 is a great solvent when high solvency in formulations is required for greases, oil, and general dirt. The product is also characterised as having versatility is miscible with other organic solvents and can be used to boost formulations when solvency is required. Solvent 1425 has a specific gravity of 0.72 and is stable at room temperature.
Industrial & DIY Uses:
- Fast drying solvent means that when using it as a degreaser the product flashes off quickly for a nice finish.
- General workshop cleaner to remove contaminants from workshop floors and walls.
- Removes oil, grease and brake fluid.
- Not recommended to be used for cleaning gummed up carburettors.
- It is designed to remove oil, grease, brake fluid, and other types of automotive, heavy duty and agricultural vehicles and equipment.
Why choose Solvent 1425 over X55 or B1?
Solvent 1425 is a slightly better product in flashing off in comparison to X55 and B1. It does a very similar job, just slightly better. In some applications in order to get the right finish Solvent 1425 is most recommended. Solvent 1425 is known as a Mobile product whereas Solvent X55 is a shell product. The items both do similar jobs. Solvent 1425 does do a better job than Solvent X55 as it flashes off faster. The 1425 product has better health effects than the X55 and is considered to be not as “harmful”, which is better for workshops.
Solvent 1425 Hazards
When using Solvent 1425 it is important to be cautious. It is advised to wear safety glasses and use chemical resistant gloves. Under the circumstance, if it has been swallowed or is ingested in so form it is important to seek medical attention immediately. Excise Included
This product is excisable, and includes excise in the price. The excise tax is at 0.409 cents per litre plus GST, totalling $88.66 inclusive to cost given. The excise is referred to as a tax fuel and can be claimed back on BAS.

- If Swallowed contact a doctor or poison information center immediately and show container or label.
- In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and contact a doctor or poison information center.
- In case of contact with skin, wash contacted area with soap and water.
- If inhaled remove to fresh air.
- If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
- Prevent material entering sewers.

Yes, we are located in Penrith. Unit 3, 10 Production Place Jamisontown NSW 2750.
Are we open to the public?
Yes, we are. You can buy direct from us by paying card or cash. You don't need to be a business customer to buy. Anyone can walk in and buy from us.
We are open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
What can you pay on pick up?
We accept cash or card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, EFTPOS).
Information Regarding Pick Up Of 200LTRS
200LTRS can be picked up as long as they are stowed and restrained within rigid sides or gates; and no dangerous article or package containing dangerous goods may protrude above the sides or gates by more than 30% of the height of the article or package; and no parts of an article or package may protrude horizontally beyond the sides or gates.
Information Regarding Delivery
We know you’ll be keen to receive your order as quickly as possible. Please make sure you provide us with:
- A valid delivery address (either residential or business) as we cannot ship our products to PO Box or Parcel Collect, and
- Contact phone number so we can contact you if there are any issues with your consignment.
Our couriers require the customer’s phone number for each delivery. We can’t book your delivery unless you have provided us with a valid daytime phone number.
We pack every order carefully to ensure it reaches you in good condition.
Your order will be sent through one of our preferred couriers.
After payment has been received, your order will be processed by the following business day. The approximate cut-off time for same-day dispatch is 11 am.
Shipping timeframes:
Shipping charges are calculated depending on the quantity, weight, location and if it contains dangerous goods.
All consignments are tracked. The tracking number can be viewed in the email notification you receive after the order has been dispatched. If you can't find it or need help with tracking, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
