Distilled Water
- Purified water
- Produced by Mechanical Vapour Recompression distillation process
Distilled water is known as purified water that has been put through a process to remove impurities to produce liquid distilled water. The process involves heating the item above the boiling point and the steam from that water is captured and cooled to produce the water, hence why the purities are no longer there.
Distilled water is a handy product to have as there are a variety of industrial and home uses.
Home and Industrial Uses:
- Serialisation
- Colloidal silver automotive batteries and cooling systems
- Steam irons
- Suitable for use with radiators, batteries, steam irons and in conjunction with most coolants
- Ideal for watering indoor and delicate plants as it will not cause a build-up of minerals in the soil
What is the difference between distilled water and purified water?
The two products are made through a purification process. Demineralised water is purely H2O so it has no other minerals left in the water. Distilled water is better at removing bacteria or viruses and that’s why you would use it, if not demineralised water is ok to use.
